| Buildings along Sierra Hwy (Hwy 14 & Bus Loop 58) in the Town of Mojave in California |
| Maybe, you are wondering, why I am interested in these particular buildings. Thru all my journeys in Southern California, mainly Cajon Pass and Tehachapi Pass, I visited Mojave at least 10 times between the mid 1970's and 2010. I was usually lodging at the Motel 6, got Gasoline at the ARCO Gas Station and had Breakfast and Dinner at Denny's. In other words, these places are familiar to me. In the meantime, I got correct scale replicas (1:87) of ARCO, Denny's and KFC (made by Pelle Soeeborg) on my HO layout. |
