Unlocking childhood BN memories out here. Crawford Hill - Northwest Nebraska. The pine ridge part of the state with views of Red Cloud Buttes in the distance. Just being out here is a treat, let alone seeing a rare passenger train move across the landscape.

A once in a lifetime photo opportunity. There were roughly 12 of us photographers lined up along the first curve up the grade. I met people from South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, Illinois and Nebraska. Everyone was having a good time.

Patriotic Passenger Power parallels Colorado Avenue S. as it arrives into Stacy Yard. BNSF Semiquincentennial G.E. ES44ACH’s #1776 & #2026, along with #3336 behind the former, bring the USA 250 Employee Appreciation Special back into the Emerald City crossing S. Horton & S. Hanford Streets after a trip along the Puget Sound.
