During my 2011 Cajon Pass trip, I went to my HO scale (1:87) Joshua Tree producer to pick up my model trees for my layout. On the way back to Cajon, I drove up Soledad Canyon and passed Palmdale. There are plenty Joshua Trees along the road and I took the chance to take photos of the real thing.

	No question, Joshua Trees are faszinating. None looks the same and we do have an endless variety. So, after all, I found the perfect Joshuas in HO scale (1:87) for my layout. 	Das sind die gleichen Joshua Trees wie auf den beiden Fotos unten (vom Juli 2008). Wir stehen südlich vom Highway 138 neben den BNSF Gleisen (MT-1 und MT-2), in Sichtweite der Mormon Rocks. These are the same Joshua Trees as seen on the 2 photos below (taken in July 2008). The location is just South of Hwy 138 next to BNSF MT-1 and MT-2 near the Mormon Rocks.
