After visitting the Orange Empire Railway  Museum we went to San Timoteo Canyon. Once built by SP, it is now owned by UP and continues to Beaumont Hill.

We finally made it to Barstow.

First stop was at the West end of the huge BNSF classifiaction yard to see trains from and to Cajon Pass.

Next stop was the former AT&SF Barstow Depot "Harvey House". The WARM (Western American Railroad Museum) is also having an outdoor display of several Locos and rolling stock.

Photos 51221 and 51223: Exactly this Denny's Restaurant and also this ARCO Gas Station are on the fantastic HO scale layout of Pelle Soeborg in Denmark.
